Meditatia zilei:
 Cristos a spus: "Eu sunt Lumina lumii!"
In seara Invierii, atatia oameni se intorc de la biserica cu lumina pe o lumanare, dar in interiorul lor este un intuneric asa de adanc. Mantuitorul Sfant nu a murit si, mai mult, nu a inviat ca eu sa am lumina in exterior, dar in interior sa bajbai in intuneric. Cristos nu a murit ca eu sa am lumina pe o lumanare, sa-mi implinesc datoria de Paste, iar apoi sa beau si sa ma imbuib pana dimineata. Iisus nu a inviat ca eu sa traiesc in continuare la fel.
Cristos a murit ca sa ingroape pacatul meu, si a inviat ca sa ma insufleteasca cu un duh nou si viu, plin de Lumina. "Tot asa, sa lumineze si lumina voastra inaintea oamenilor, ca ei sa vada faptele voastre bune si sa slaveasca pe Tatal vostru, care este in ceruri."
Lumina mea este Cristos, iar eu stralucesc Lumina Lui, Lumina care aduce salvare in sfanta Lui jertfa. Eu sunt in Lumina, pentru ca El m-a scos din intuneric prin moartea si prin invierea Lui: m-a imbracat cu El ca eu sa radiez din Lumina Lui, sa fiu un far demn de incredere pentru cei ce bajbaie in intuneric, sa fiu un far care-L indica pe Iisus, Rascumparatorul! Lumina mea nu se stinge la orice adiere de vant, ci straluceste puternic pentru gloria Lui!



Cristos e VIU!
