Cunoaste-L pe Domnul Isus ca Salvator!

Meditatia zilei:


Prima promisiune din Noul Testament este ca Domnul Isus va salva pe poporul Sau de pacatele sale.
Matei 1:21

Ce inseamna oare sa fii mantuit/salvat de pacat? Stim ca prin sangele Domnului Isus suntem iertati de pacatele marturisite, dar asta nu inseamna ca suntem si salvati de robia pacatului.
De multe ori cantam si spunem ca Domnul Isus este Salvatorul nostru, dar nu Il cunoastem drept salvator, fiindca nu avem biruinta asupra pacatului si continuam sa cadem in aceleasi pacate, fiind biruiti de aceleasi ispite. Sau, cateodata biruim o ispita cu greu, iar atunci cand ne aflam in aceleasi circumstante si vine aceeasi ispita pentru a doua oara, e de-ajuns ca sa cadem. Domnul vrea sa ne salveze! El a venit sa ierte pacatele dar si sa salveze omenirea din a pacatui. Trebuie sa Il cunoastem pe Domnul Isus nu numai ca iertator, ci si ca Salvator!
Tu poti spune ca esti salvat de pacat? ...sau continui sa fii robit?
Dumnezeu nu te condamna, ci vrea sa fii eliberat. Te iubeste mult, dar uraste pacatul tau. Cere-I putere… cere-I sa te umple cu Duhul Sau Cel Sfant si vei putea fi salvat.
Abia atunci cand poti invinge ispitele si cand esti salvat de robia pacatului poti spune ca Domnul Isus ti-e Salvator.
Domnul sa ne ajute la aceasta! Amin!
